The starting point for the book was a set of song lyrics by Frida Hyvönen, which I analysed from a third-wave feminist perspective, wrote free-form essays based on the analyses, and used the gained understanding as a starting point for the illustrations in the final outcome. In the work, I utilized all the printmaking methods I was familiar with at the time, aiming at grasping the multiple layers of the analyses and the presupposition of diversity inherent to 3rd-wave feminist theories.
